Laugh of the day

So I was on facebook today and my cousin decided to post a funny status. I wanted to share it all with you but I cannot for the life of me figure out how to 'share' it. So I will type is. B is my cousin and D is her dad (my uncle) It goes like this:

B is wondering, does anyone speak rice krispie? Cause I can't figure out what they are saying to me every morning -- I am pretty sure they are quite angry today.

D: I speak rice krispie. Their vocabulary is very simple and consists of only three words. Snap, crackle, pop, not necessarily in that order. If you pour beer in em they slurr their words which may sound like snatch, craple, poop, not necessarily in that order. If ya need any further enlightenment on rice krispie etiquette, let me know.

Their a great snap, crackle, pop when ya mix em with frosted flakes.

Try em with chocolate milk : Snappy, crackly, poppy... ya man!

Next time they get angry, put a lid on em and ya can drowned em as well as suffocate em then eat their limp lifeless soggy bodies.

B: I see you have a better relationship with breakfast food. I will have to talk to you on this subject more often. How close are you to captain crunch?

D: Well the food industry should automatically give a free box of it to any one who has ever crashed a car in moments of the occasion

B: I agree with that but I'm not sure they would.

Maybe this a moment that you had to be there to see unfolding (or to know the people) but man this sure cracked me up!!!! It is a classic. I wish I could be as witty as some people I know and come up with all the wall stuff like this!

My recent guilty pleasure

For those of you who don't know, I have been on a battle of being healthier without feeling the pressure of committing to specific amounts of pounds or going to the gym so many times a week. I have a very busy schedule and when I commit to stuff like that I get stressed. However I am doing weight watchers without paying for weight watchers. I have my moments sometimes. My weight has always been a battle and it always will be, but I have found something that I look forward to every day that fits within my 'points' budget!

Starbucks oatmeal!!!!! (with a side of passion tea lemonade with raspberry that is 0 points!!! A drink that I devour!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!) I have issues with textures of food. I have tried oatmeal in different varieties. It smells so good but the texture makes me gag so I just don't eat it. I was hesitant to try it one again. I have no idea what it is with this oatmeal but I love it and it doesn't make me gag!!!! I crave this breakfast every morning. This is what makes my days go a whole lot better. Starbucks Oatmeal.... YYYYUUUUUUUUUUUMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMM!

You have GOT to be kidding me!!

Really?!?!? I am going to be a complainer for just a minute, everyone has their moments. Just when I THINK things are starting too look up and life is coming back together... BAM!!! it shatters in to a million pieces waiting for me to pick them up again and put them back together. I realize that there are people who are in worst situations than I am but I am SICK of getting the short end of the stick when I work so freakin hard! This is really some sick joke and I am not laughing anymore...

Its about time

My goodness, where has time gone?

I have learned the older I get, the faster time flies by me.

We did it!!! We got the deck done. A year later here we are. It takes alot of work when doing something by yourself. I have to tell you the last stretch was a long one but with some persistence on my end we got it done. By WE I really do mean Bryce and I. I can officially say that WE DID IT!!!! Did I tell you the good news that his mom found a place to call her own? The house will soon be transformed into something we can call all ours. I am very excited to be repainting, decorating and designing OUR home. But lets not jump too far ahead of ourselves... so presenting..... our outside paradise! (ok ok it looks the same but don't be fooled... it is VERY different on many aspects)

BEFORE:

Do you see the flower pots?? Bryce had a little fun with those on demolition day!

Before Bryce bought the house someone took 2 different color paints and PAINTED the deck. It was awful... SPLINTERS became a custom around our hours.

DURING:

we took off the floorboards first. Then we replaced the beams then we redid the floor. It is the same floor design but we replaced everything instead of tearing it all down and starting over= ALOT OF WORK

AFTER:

We have since added our canopy, patio set, and grill to this. It looks amazing in person. we have spent so much time out there already and it has only been done a week! We are now putting the fire pit in (hopefully it will be done shortly after labor day) I am just glad Bryce is feeling good enough to relax on this. finally.

Have you ever???

I am such a huge sucker for pink!! I love her music and I guess you would call it my guilty pleasure. I find I can relate to her lyrics in her music.

Deja is an amazing person... you can meet her here and here. She posted on her blog a few weeks ago about a new song by Pink. I have heard it but never paid attention to the lyrics. This song now has a whole new meaning to it thank to her. I hope that Deja reads this post and knows just how many live she has changed. Check out her blog then read the lyrics....

Have you ever fed a lover with just your hands?
Closed your eyes and trusted, just trusted?
Have you ever thrown a fist full of glitter in the air?
Have you ever looked fear in the face and said, "I just don't care"?

It's only half past the point of no return
The tip of the iceberg
The sun before the burn
The thunder before the lightning
The breath before the phrase
Have you ever felt this way?

Have you ever hated yourself for staring at the phone?
You're whole life waiting on the ring to prove you're not alone
Have you ever been touched so gently you had to cry?
Have you ever invited a stranger to come inside?

It's only half past the point of oblivion
The hourglass on the table
The walk before the run
The breath before the kiss
And the fear before the flames
Have you ever felt this way?

La La La La La La La La

There you are, sitting in the garden
Clutching my coffee,
Calling me sugar
You called me sugar

Have you ever wished for an endless night?
Lassoed the moon and the stars and pulled that rope tight?
Have you ever held your breath and asked yourself will it ever get better than tonight?
Tonight

Persistence and patients

It is 10:30 at night, I am logging on to blogger since I cant sleep. Maybe because for the first time in a week I got to actually cuddle up to Bryce today and took a nap. We had a good talk tonight, one we don't have often.

Have you ever loved someone so much it hurt???

Have you ever seen the one you love suffer?

Have you ever cried so hard that you ache?

Have you ever thought the one you loved was going to die???

I will answer all of those for you... yes, yes, yes, yes. All of those happened this weekend. I have never had a weekend so miserable in my entire life. I have never had to witness the one person I love most struggle for a breath. I have never had my body ache until it convulsed. those too happened this weekend.

Bryce has been terribly sick, yet we are still waiting on answers, getting the run around and still feeling helpless. I have had to learn patient and persistence the last couple of weeks. I refuse to give up and watch him lay around for he cant even help himself. I refuse to sleep alone in my own bed for the 2nd week in a row.

My 100th post was suppose to be something great! It wasn't... Here is my 101st post so I will try to end it great.

Cherish the person you have in your life for you may not know when their last breath will be.

Hold the one you love tonight for you never know when you will HAVE to be separated for a long period of time

Always push forward TOGETHER, alone obstacle are big and tedious. together you can conquer the world

Always kiss them goodnight... even when you may be upset with each other. The small shit doesnt matter...

A girl can dream.. right???

Today this is what I was suppose to be doing... Sounds like a blast considering I am deathly afraid of heights. BUT mother nature had and intervention with me and our early 4 o'clock wake up turned into wanna-be 3 hours of sleep. We ended up coming all the way home and crashing until mid morning.
As a matter of fact I had a HUGE agenda for the entire week... didn't happen. Maybe I can dream tonight of the day (of which I hope is very soon) that we will be able to fulfill our week of fun. A girl can dream right???
